    What is a Premium Membership?

    A Premium Membership allows you to initiate contact with other members.
    It includes the following benefits:

    Mail Message – Message as many people as your heart desires*!
    Instant Message – Using our Messenger, message any online member in real–time!
    Replies to you are FREE – It's free for any member to reply to your messages.
    More Exposure – Your profile is sent to more members.
    Priority Service – Receive priority Customer Care.

    How do I become a Premium Member?

    To become a Premium Member, click here, or click "Premium Membership" on the sub–menu.



    Do you automatically bill me each month until I cancel?

    If you purchase the monthly renewing Premium Membership, then yes, you will be billed monthly until you cancel your membership. If you purchase one of the non–renewing term Premium Memberships, you will not be re–billed.


    How do I cancel my Premium Membership?


    To cancel your Premium Membership, click "My Account" on the sub–menu, and then click the "Cancel Membership" link located on that page.
    Editing my profile

    How do I make changes to my profile?

    To view or edit your profile:
    Click "My Profile" on the sub–menu, then click the appropriate tab.
    Make your changes, then click "Update" to save.



    How do I change my Login or Email settings?

    To change your Login or Email Settings:
    Click "My Account" on the sub–menu, then click on the "Login & Email" tab.
    Make your changes, then click "Update" to save.


    How do I change the distance radius for my Matches or my Search results?

    The distance radius is set system–wide to a default of 200 miles/320 kilometers.

    To change the distance radius:
    Under "Geography", click the drop down box and choose your desired distance.
    Click "Update" to save. A list with the new distance radius will appear.
    Important Note: You will have to follow this process for every set of results since it will revert back to the set–default each time.


    Can I hide my profile so that it does not appear in Searches?

    Yes, you can HIDE your profile so it does not appear in Searches. However, anyone you have been in contact with or who has you marked as a Favorite will still be able to view your profile. You'll still be able to express interest, send and receive messages, and use the Messenger with your profile hidden.

    To HIDE your profile, click "My Profile" on the sub–menu, select "Hide my profile so it does not appear in Searches", and then click "Update".



    How can I stop receiving email notifications?

    To stop receiving email notifications you need to change your Email Settings:
    Click "My Account" on the sub–menu, then click on the "Login & Email" tab.
    Uncheck the appropriate boxes, then click "Update" to save.

    How do I post photos to my profile?

    You are able to post up to three photos for FREE – one Primary Photo (head and shoulder pose) and two Additional Photos.

    To post photos, click "My Photos" on the sub–menu, then click "Browse" under the appropriate area and select the photo from your files.

    Alternatively, you may mail–in your photos. Mail–in instructions can be found on the "My Photos" page.


    How do I remove my profile?

    To remove your profile, click "MyAccount" on the sub–menu, then click the remove profile link located at the bottom of the page.

    How do I perform a Search?

    To perform a Search, click "Search" on the main menu, then click on the link of the search you wish to perform.

    There are four types of searches: Quick, Detailed, Nickname or Mailbox. You can choose your search results to display – All Profiles, Profiles with Photos Only, or Photo Gallery Format.

    Quick Search
    The results of a "Quick Search" will automatically be displayed, as this is the default search. A "Quick Search" will yield the most results because it lists anyone who fits your age range and location (radius of 200 miles/320 kilometers) criteria.

    Detailed Search
    A "Detailed Search" allows you to be more specific with the characteristics you are looking for in a desired mate.

    Mailbox Search and Nickname Search
    These searches can be used when you are looking to find a specific member and you know their exact Mailbox Number or Nickname.


    What is the Messenger?

    The Messenger allows you to message someone in real–time by clicking the "Instant Message" button below the member's photo area. Members who are online are indicated by the word ballon icon . The "Who's Online?" page, on the main menu, will list members who are currently online.

    Premium Members have the ability to contact any member through the Messenger! Other members can only reply to an Instant Message or Instant Message a member they've previously been in contact with. Once a Premium Member has made contact, all further Mail or Instant Messaging between the two members is FREE.


    What is the "Favorites" feature?

    The "Favorites" feature allows you to add profiles to a confidential list so you can better manage the profiles you may want to come back to or message at a later date.


    What is the "Lockouts" feature?

    The "Lockouts" feature allows you to prevent someone from making further contact with you. To lockout a member, click the "Add to Lockouts" button located below the member's photo area. The member will now appear in your "Lockouts" list located on the "Message Center" under the "Lists" heading. If the member tries to make further contact with you, they will be informed that you have chosen not to receive messages from them at this time.


    Mail and Instant Massaging

    How do I send a Mail Message?

    To send a Mail Message, click the "Mail Message" button located below the member's photo area, type your message, then click "Send Message".

    Alternatively, if you know the member's Mailbox Number, you can send them a message by clicking "Message Center" on the main menu, then clicking "Compose" under the "Messages" heading.

    Please Note:
    Only Premium Members can initiate contact with other members. Once contact has been made, all further Mail and Instant Messaging between the two members is FREE.


    How do I send an Instant Message?

    To send an Instant Message, click the "Instant Message" button below the member's photo area. The Messenger will open. Type your message and press "Send".


    Is there a cost to send a Mail or Instant Message?

    Is there a cost to read or reply to a Mail or Instant Message?

    No, it's always FREE to read and reply to a Mail Message or Instant Message. However, only Premium Members can INITIATE contact with other members.



    Troubleshooting

    Some of the site features are not working for me, why?

    Our site makes use of latest Flash technology to enhance your browsing experience. Flash is used to create fluid and interactive images on the web site, and is powered by a small, and free application called Flash Player.

    To ensure that you can make the most of our site please download the latest Flash Player from Macromedia:
    Click this link, or type it into the address bar of your web browser: http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/
    Click the little button to the left of the text, "Get Flash Player 7 only FREE."
    Click the "Install Now" button to automatically download and install Macromedia Flash Player 7 into your web browser.
    Depending on your security settings, you may see a Security Warning dialog box. This box is simply warning you that a download is about to take place, however it is a perfectly safe and common application that will in no way harm your computer. Click "Yes" to accept the download. When you see the Macromedia Flash Player 7 logo and text, the installation was successful.
    In addition to the above information we recommend using Internet Explorer 6 or better as we are fully compatible with this browser.

    Please also note that our site uses Cookies and Java Script, if you have disabled these you will need to enable them.

    If you are using the most recent browser version available to you and you have the latest Flash player downloaded however you are still experiencing some difficulties, you may need to clear your Cache (Temporary Internet Files). If this does not solve the problem, it may be that you are using a browser that our site is not fully compatible with.

    Clearing your Cache: If you use INTERNET EXPLORER:
    Under the "Tools" menu, click "Internet Options".
    Then make sure you are on the "General Tab".
    In the "Temporary Internet Files" section, click "Delete files".
    Then click OK. This deletes TEMPORARY FILES ONLY (CACHE) and will not remove anything of importance.
    Then click the "Settings" button and make sure "Automatically" is chosen under "Check for newer versions of stored pages".
    Then click OK, and then OK again.
    Close your browser.
    Logon to the site and try again.

    If you use NETSCAPE:
    Under the "Edit" menu, click "Preferences".
    In the left column, click the + sign beside "Advanced".
    Then click "Cache".
    Then in the right column, click "Clear Memory Cache".
    Then click OK. This deletes TEMPORARY FILES ONLY (CACHE) and will not remove anything of importance.
    Then in the right column, click "Clear Disk Cache".
    Then click OK. This deletes TEMPORARY FILES ONLY (CACHE) and will not remove anything of importance.
    Make sure "Once per session" is chosen under "Document in cache is compared to document on network".
    Close your browser.
    Logon to the site and try again.

    If you use ANY OTHER BROWSER:
    Try to locate the option to clear your Cache or Temporary Internet Files, otherwise you can try to upgrade it to a newer version and see if that works.
    Close your browser.
    Logon to the site and try your problematic action again. If this does not solve the problem, you may want to try upgrading your browser to a newer version.
